The heart and soul behind our biz, John started in broadcast at ABC and CBS stations in Chicago where he wrote and produced Emmy award-winning shows including cult hit “The Sports Writers on TV.” Other broadcast credits include ESPN, Fox, NBC and Ebony Jet. Born and raised in Madison, John started John Roach Projects in 1985 so he could raise his family here. In addition to leading the strategy and creative for our shop, John has earned accolades for his interesting side projects, like the screenplay he co-wrote for the David Lynch film "The Straight Story." Known for his energy and candor, our beloved founder is never at a loss for words, whether spoken or written.
